WinRM and ONVIF for better profiling!

New profiling methods allow NACVIEW to better understand what is in your corporate network.

WinRM (Windows Remote Management) -  firewall-friendly protocol that allows hardware and operating systems, from different vendors, to cooperate. Protocol specification provides a common way for systems to access and exchange management information across an IT infrastructure. We use WinRM to obtain management data like hardware and system data from local and remote computers.

ONVIF (the Open Network Video Interface Forum) – a protocol that provides interoperability among IP security devices such as security cameras, video recorders and so on. ONVIF allows scanning a network looking for ONVIF cameras and creating an audit log folder, which contains information about the vendor, model and serial number and the camera time (to check Time Sync Errors).
